<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method by which deterioration in image quality attributed to reduction in the charge amount of toner caused with the increase of the number of prints is suppressed and a longer operating life of a developing device determined to be washed up from the viewpoint of image quality can be ensured, even if the developing device is replenished with new external toner and continuously used in an image forming method using a positive charge type nonmagnetic monocomponent pulverized toner. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming method having a replenishable structure, after replenishment with new external toner 20, a higher applied voltage A to a supply roller 3 than a voltage B to a developing roller is sequentially increased from the voltage A in proportion to the increase of the number of prints. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
