<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that actively cools the surface of a toner container while making the apparatus compact. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: the toner container (22) which supplies toner to a developing means for developing an electrostatic latent image, formed on an image carrier (17), with toner; a fixing section (32) which is disposed in the vicinity of the toner container and fixes a toner image, transferred to paper from the image carrier, to this paper; an ejection tray (36) which is disposed above and adjacent to the toner container and on which paper conveyed out from the fixing section is ejected; and cooling means (50, 60) for cooling the toner container by generating a current of outside air in a gap (28) between the ejection tray and toner container. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
