The vehicle (3) has an electric component i.e. airbag controller, arranged on a socket in an interior space (4) of a vehicle i.e. lorry, and covered by an air- and liquid impermeable cover (1). The cover is formed and arranged such that the cover upwardly and laterally encloses the component and is arranged at a distance from the component, the socket and a floor (5) of the interior space of the vehicle. The cover is attached to the socket, the floor of the interior space and/or the component, and is made of metal or plastic.
