<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system and its control method optimally controlling a volume and temperature of a liquid component stored in a gas-liquid separating part. <P>SOLUTION: The system is provided with a fuel cell 1, a pump 5 supplying gas to the fuel cell 1, a gas-liquid separating part 10 storing a liquid component exhausted at least from a cathode side of the fuel cell 1, a cooling part 12 cooling the liquid component stored, a temperature detecting part 34 measuring temperature of the liquid component, a liquid volume detecting part 36 measuring a volume of the liquid component, and a control part 7 controlling a flow of gas from the pump 5 as well as a heat radiation volume by the cooling part 12. The control part 7 is so structured to control at least either a radiation volume by the cooling part 12 or a flow of gas supplied from the pump 5, based on an output from the temperature detecting part 34 and that from the liquid volume detecting part 36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
