<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst material for highly removing a contaminant in water. <P>SOLUTION: The photocatalyst material is a hollow fibrous photocatalyst material for removing the contaminant in water. The photocatalyst material has an inner diameter (r) of the hollow fiber larger than the size of the contaminant R in water. Preferably, the inner diameter (r) of the hollow fiber is in a range of 3 nm to 8 nm.
