<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar photodetector the characteristics of which are not deteriorated when the photodetector is integrated with an electronic element and which does not require high accuracy for alignment when mounted and has a high-productivity structure. SOLUTION: The planar photodetector 1 receives the light made incident to the surface of a substrate 2. The photodetector 1 is composed of a first substrate 17 which is needed for the formation of the photodetector 1 and removed or thinned in thickness, functional layers 10, 14, 15, and 16 needed for performing light reception and electrical control, and electrodes 8 formed on the surface of the functional layers 10, 14, 15, and 16. The photodetector 1 is stuck to a second substrate 2 in an insulated state and an electric wiring pattern which is used for driving and controlling the element 1 is electrically connected to the electrodes 8 on the second substrate 2.</p> |
