The fastening element (10) has a plate shaped-base element (2), and pin-shaped profile elements (12) protruding for interfusing a flat fiber material (1) at a base element. The profile elements are deformable for forming retaining heads (22) for the fiber material. A cover element (3) is attached to the profile elements, and the cover element and the base element are integrally formed. The cover element, the base element and/or the profile elements is made of a plastic material. A retaining unit is provided for fixing the cover element at the base element. An independent claim is also included for a method for fastening a flat fiber material. |
