PURPOSE: A self washing method of dish washer is provided, which can prevent frost break by the icing of the rinse water saved inside the tank. CONSTITUTION: A self washing method of dish washer comprises: a first step of deciding opening and closing of the door of dish washer; a second step of stopping the operation of heater and pausing for the constant time; a third step of deciding the normality drainage through the water level sensor locating in the washing bottom of a tank; a fourth step of shielding the outlet valve; a fifth step of pumping out the water of the tank; a sixth step of deciding the normality drainage through the water level sensor locating in the washing bottom of a tank; a seventh step of shielding the pump and drain pump; and an eighth step of automatically terminating power source.
