PURPOSE: A mobile terminal with a panorama photographing function and an operating method thereof are provided to use objective data when photographing panorama pictures, thereby notifying an accurate photographing location to a user. CONSTITUTION: A panorama guide unit(220) is displayed overlappingly on a preview screen(210). The panorama guide unit is composed of lattices including a plurality of rows and columns. Each lattice of the panorama guide unit is set by a user. A guide image(230) is displayed on one area of the preview screen.
