<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set for inkjet recording, which features excellent ink flocculation properties and rapid recording capability, and an inkjet recording method which enables recording at a higher speed than in a conventional method. <P>SOLUTION: This ink set includes an ink composition containing a coloring material and a self-dispersible polymer particle and a cationic organic compound.
