<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new photodegradable block copolymer comprising hydrophilic polyethylene oxide chain (PEO) and a hydrophobic polypropylene oxide chain (PPO), wherein a photodegradable group is introdued between the PEO and the PPO of the amphipathic block copolymer (as a triblock copolymer, PEO-PPO-PEO or PPO-PEO-PPO) to easily break the coupling between the blocks by irradation with light. <P>SOLUTION: The photodegradable group is provided between the adjoining polyethylene oxide and polypropylene oxide in the amphipathic triblock copolymer formed by inserting the polypropylene oxide between the polyethylene oxides or the polyethylene oxide between the polypropylene oxides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
