<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine-driven power generator of a simple structure capable of preventing contact between a rotor and a stator, and an outdoor unit of an air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: The power generator includes the annular stator 75 disposed on the body of a gas engine 10 to encircle the driving shaft of the gas engine 10, and the rotor 80 connected to the driving shaft inside the stator 75. The power generator also includes a means 100 which detects the decentering of the central portion O of the rotor 80 when the rotor 80 rotates and stops the rotation of the rotor 80 when detecting the decentering to the extent that the rotor 80 comes in contact with the stator 75. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
