The beacon (1) has a protection structure fixed in a removable manner to a lower end of a concrete body (2). The structure is placed in a retracted position, in which the beacon is transposed, or in a deployed position, in which the structure extends vertically above the beacon and along a longitudinal axis of the beacon. The structure has panels (41, 51) withstanding wind and air currents ranging between 100 and 200 Kilometer per hour, where the panel is made of plastic material. An arm (7) is articulated on a T-shaped metallic head (3) and maintains the panels in vertical position.
