<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network printing system that enables printing even when a user issues a print instruction in which the cumulative number of printed sheets exceeds a preset number of printable sheets. <P>SOLUTION: In the network printing system, an image forming apparatus performing printing in response to print requests, a printing management apparatus for managing user-specific printing rights to restrict print requests according to the printing rights, and user terminals for issuing print requests to the image forming apparatus via the print management apparatus, are connected to each other. The print management apparatus includes: a determination means for determining whether the execution of a print request is permitted or not on the basis of the printing right of a first user, a print request suspension means for suspending the transfer of the print request to the image forming apparatus if the execution is not permitted, and an execution permission acquisition means for acquiring execution permission from a second user having a printing right to execute the print request.
