<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a roofing material-type solar battery panel device which enables cooling, carried out through ventilation and the discharge of rainwater to be properly applied to each of solar battery panels. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This roofing material-type solar battery panel device includes a guide plate 12, which comprises a bottom portion 12A provided for each solar battery panel 1, extended on the backside of the solar battery panel 1 and forming a first ventilation flue F1 between a photovoltaic functional body and a frame body, and a folded portion 12B, provided by being bent in a U-shape and forming a second ventilation flue F2 on the periphery of a ridge-side end side of the solar battery panel 1. First irregularities, which are formed on the eaves-side end of the bottom portion 12A of the guide plate 12, serve as an eaves-side opening which allows the outside to communicate with the first ventilation flue F1; and second irregularities, which are formed at the eaves-side end of the top surface of the folded portion 12B of the guide plate 12, serve as a ridge-side opening which makes the outside communicate with the second ventilation flue F2.
