<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 3-dimensional design supporting device capable of supporting preparation of surface design of a 3-dimensional model, in particular, the preparation of the model being peculiar to a user by merely adding image data to a developed figure of the model. <P>SOLUTION: This 3-dimensional design supporting device is constituted in such a way that the user selects a clothes model 302 that the user wants to put it on an avatar 301 in a common virtual space, reads a stuck image 309 desired by the user in a pattern 307 read and corresponding to the selected clothes on a clothes self-making screen 308, and superimposes the image 309 on the pattern, and the part where the pattern 307 and the stuck image 309 are superimposed is mapped as texture of the clothes model 302. The stuck image 309 is moved by user's drag and drop operation through a mouse, relative positions of the pattern 307 and the stuck image 309 are changed, and the texture to be mapped on the clothes model 302 is also changed in accordance with the change of the relative positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
