PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge and discharge system capable of carrying out battery pack replacement without breaking power supply to an electric apparatus, and also, capable of preventing charged energy of a charged battery pack from discharging to a used battery pack at replacing of the battery pack. SOLUTION: The battery packs 21, 31 include charging/discharging terminals 21b, 31b allowing charging and discharging of secondary batteries 24, 34, and discharging terminals 21a, 31a allowing discharging of the secondary batteries but inhabiting charging of them. The electric apparatus includes a first electrode 11a capable of connecting with the charging/discharging terminal of the battery pack and a second electrode 11b capable of connecting with the discharging terminal of the battery pack. When two battery packs are connected with the electric apparatus, the first electrode is to be in a state that the first electrode is not connected with any charge/discharge terminals of two battery packs, and the second electrode is connected with both discharging terminals of two battery packs.
