The invention relates to a replacement part (1) for a gas turbine blade which replacement part is designed to replace a removed portion of the blade, said portion comprising a section of the blade tip and a section of the leading edge and/or the trailing edge, and the replacement part (1) having at least one joining side (10) with which it can be brought in contact with the blade that is reduced by the removed portion and joined therewith.
