PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery which can suppress the swelling thereof and the deterioration of the capacity of the same as being left behind in a high temperature environment. SOLUTION: In a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery which uses an electrolytic solution containing a chain-like carbonate system compound, the electrolytic solution is added with vinylene carbonate and fluorination chain-like ether system compound. In this structure, transesterification on the negative electrode of the chain-like carbonate system compound is suppressed by vinylene carbonate and decomposition on the positive electrode of vinylene carbonate itself is suppressed by the fluorination chain-like ether system compound.
