<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angular velocity detector enabling stable operation by correcting phase shift of displacement signals of a vibrator due to angular velocity. <P>SOLUTION: The vibrator 4 displaces in first and second directions orthogonal mutually. The vibrator 4 displaces to the second direction due to generation of angular velocity while vibrating the vibrator 4 in the first direction. A servo system including integral calculators 44, 45, a feedback signal generation part 46, and a bias addition part 47 acts external force so as to suppress the displacement of the vibrator 4, and detects angular velocity based on the size of the external force. A phase correction calculation part 43 adds signals indicating displacement amounts due to angular velocity output from the vibrator 4 to the servo system to correct phase variation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
