PURPOSE: An emergency engine start button device for a vehicle is provided to easily secure the installation space in a vehicle because a toggle button is installed in the handle of a door. CONSTITUTION: An emergency engine start button device for a vehicle comprises a fob key, an immobilizer(PDM), a toggle button(55), an antenna coil(50), and a microcomputer(IPM). The immobilizer performs user authentication based on the authentication data stored in the fob key through wireless communication and, if the fob key is effective, transmits the user identification result. The microcomputer outputs a control signal for controlling general operations of the vehicle to an electronic control unit according to the user identification result of the immobilizer and the manipulation of a start button. The toggle button is installed in a door handle and operated by a user in an emergency. The antenna coil is installed in the specific position of the door handle and connected of the fob key.
