<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress electrode degradation due to rise of an electric potential, while suppressing complication of a whole of a fuel cell system and complication of operability. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system provided with a first and a second fuel cell stacks is equipped with a gas flow switching and controlling part which, when a load requirement is smaller than a standard load requirement, makes oxide gas flow from the first fuel cell stack to the second fuel cell stack through an oxide gas connection passage and moreover circulates the oxide gas between the first and the second fuel cell stacks by flowing the oxide gas which passes through the second fuel cell stack to the oxide gas circulating passage, and when the load requirement is more than the standard load requirement, changes the oxide gas flowing condition so that the oxide gas which passes through at least the second fuel cell stack may flow into the oxide gas exhausting passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
