<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device and a flat cable which have improved assemblability. <P>SOLUTION: A cellular phone according to one embodiment 1 includes a display portion 2 and an arm portion 3, mutually facing and connected to be able to perform relative rotation within a predetermined flat surface, and an FFC 8 electrically connecting the display portion 2 and the arm portion 3.
