<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support for a plant securing support of a plant stem to a column, facilitating attachment-detachment operation, having a simple structure, and reduced in production cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The support for a plant is structured as follows: connecting a first support 2 which forms a first supporting part 7 formed of a cylinder having an opening 6 open forward and formed into an almost C-shape, and to the back of which a knob 4 projects, to a second support 3 which forms, like the first support 2, a second supporting part 8 formed of a cylinder having an opening 6 open forward and formed into an almost C-shape, and to the back of which a knob 4 projects, via a joining part 5 so as to come in contact with each other. The opening width of each of the openings 6, 6 is set to be smaller than the diameter of each of the supporting parts 7, 8. The first support and the second support are formed of elastic material.
