<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of dew formation on the surface of a catalyst of an anode by surely keeping temperature distribution in a cell stack constituted by the combination of two sets of cell assemblies so that the temperature of gas atmosphere in an anode of each unit cell constituting each cell assembly is made higher than the temperature of gas atmosphere in a cathode in an air-cooling type fuel cell system in which the cell stack is air-cooled. <P>SOLUTION: The cell stack 30 consists of two sets of cell assemblies 31, 32. The cell assemblies 31, 32 are arranged so as to counter the edge surfaces of the anode sides. The fuel cell system includes at least one cross flow fan 40 extending in the stacking direction of the unit cells 20 and uniformly supplying cooling air in the stacking direction to the cell stack 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
