PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent preparing apparatus for accurately diluting a high-concentration reagent to a desired concentration with easy operation. SOLUTION: The reagent preparing apparatus 4 prepares the reagent for treating an analyte by diluting the high-concentration reagent using RO (Reverse Osmosis) water (liquid for dilution). The reagent preparing apparatus 4 includes a diaphragm pump 45 used for quantitative determination of the high-concentration reagent and the RO water, a liquid quantitative determination section 50 for performing quantitative determination of each of the high-concentration reagent and the RO water using the diaphragm pump 45, and a mixing chamber 43 (44) for storing the high-concentration reagent and the RO water quantitatively determined by the liquid quantitative determination section 50.
