摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalytic control system and method. <P>SOLUTION: Injection of urea into an SCR catalyst is determined based on an SCR catalyst model. The SCR catalyst model determines a value of storage NH<SB>3</SB>in the SCR catalyst based on an NOx engine emission value, the SCR catalyst temperature, a urea supply quantity to the SCR catalyst and predetermined conversion efficiency of NOx gas. Next, a storage NH<SB>3</SB>differential is determined by using a target value of the storage NH<SB>3</SB>and the value of the storage NH<SB>3</SB>in the SCR catalyst.
