<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club shaft having a good stability in terms of carry and directions, ensuring the carry, very easy to hit a ball with, and particularly optimum for an iron club including a putter. <P>SOLUTION: This golf club shaft includes: a torsion rigidity retaining layer made of thermosetting resin having reinforced fibers obliquely crossing in the longitudinal direction of the shaft and a flexural rigidity retaining layer made of thermosetting resin having reinforced fiber aligned in parallel in the longitudinal direction. The torsion rigidity retaining layer includes: a plain-woven fabric layer 11 obtained by rolling up like a shaft a prepreg made of plain-woven fabric impregnated with thermosetting resin so that a warp and a weft are oblique to the longitudinal direction of the shaft, and hardening the same; and a 3-axial fabric layer 12 obtained by rolling up like a shaft a 3-axial fabric so that the weft is parallel or perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the shaft and hardening the same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
