PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accounting processing apparatus for managing the sell-by date and the expiration date depending on seasons. SOLUTION: The accounting processing apparatus for carrying out the registration and fare adjustment of merchandise to be purchased by a customer includes: a storage means for storing at least the adjustment time of each period of the merchandise; a measurement means for acquiring a current date; and a decision means for deciding whether the merchandise is sellable based on the adjustment time depending on the current date of the merchandise and the date of the expiration date of the merchandise to be purchased by the customer and the current date.
