<p>Use of quinacridone compounds (I) in color filter for LCD, is claimed. Use of quinacridone compounds of formula (I) in color filter for LCD, is claimed. Either A : an organic residue, which is substituted one or more times by F; and B 1>H, F, Cl, Br or an optionally substituted organic residue; or B 1>optionally together with A : a ring. Independent claims are included for: (1) a photolacquer comprising at least one photohardenable monomer, at least one photoinitiator and (I); (2) 2,9-bis-trifluoromethoxy-5,12-dihydro-quino[2,3-b]acridine-7,14-dione (II) having: lines with d-value of 5.30, 4.09, 3.69 and 3.22 (A modification), in the X-ray bending diagram (copper-Kalpha -radiation) or lines with d-value of 4.22, 3.55 and 3.31 (B modification), in the X-ray bending diagram (copper-Kalpha -radiation); (3) a mixture comprising pigment comprising (I) in A modification and a pigment comprising (II) in B modification; (4) 5,12-dihydro-quino[2,3-b]acridine-7,14-dione compound of formula (IVa), preferably 3,10-bis-trifluoromethoxy-5,12-dihydro-quino[2,3-b]acridine-7,14-dione, or (Va), preferably 1,2,4,5-bis[2,2-difluoro-6,7-dihydro-5H-[1,3]dioxolo[4,5-g]quinolin-8-one]benzene; and (5) a mixture comprising at least a pigment (I), and at least a further red pigment, preferably C. I. Pigment Red 122, C. I. Pigment Red 149, C. I. Pigment Red 177, C. I. Pigment Red 179, C. I. Pigment Red 254 or C. I. Pigment Violet 19, or at least a yellow pigment with an absorption band in the area of 400-520 nm, preferably C. I. Pigment Yellow 138, C. I. Pigment Yellow 139, C. I. Pigment Yellow 150 or a melamine intercalated 1:1 nickel azobarbituric acid complex pigment. R 1>a fluoro containing aliphatic residue, which is a fluoro containing 1-8C-residue, preferably fluoromethyl, trifluoromethyl, 2-fluoroethyl, 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl, pentafluoroethyl, 2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropyl, perfluorobutyl or perfluorooctyl; and R 2>fluoro substituted 1-3C-alkylene unit, preferably -CF 2-, -CF 2CF 2-, -CHFCHF- or -CF 2CF 2CF 2-.
