摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a driver from feeling a shortage of steering assist torque by controlling a steering angle ratio, and to allow the driver to recognize an approximation to the maximum steering angle. SOLUTION: In a middle steering angle region (B), the steering angle ratio reduced with an increase in the steering angleθin is set. This suppresses an increase in necessary output in an electric power-steering device, and prevents the occurrence of the shortage of the steering assist torque. In a large steering angle region (C), the steering angle ratio is set to be larger than that of the middle steering angle region (B). Therefore, the necessary output in the electric power-steering device is increased, and steering wheel operation becomes heavy due to the shortage of output of an electric motor relative to the necessary output.
