A process for preparation of ethanol from xylose by means of recombinant yeast strains PICHIA STIPITIS. The fermentation of xylose is realized by recombinant yeast strain P. stipitis, in genom of which the modified gene of xylose reductase (XYL1) is introduced under the control of strong constitutive promoter of gene GAPDH (glyceraldehydes-3-phosphatdehydrogenase), that provides for increasing of ethanol accumulation in 1.4 times. |
