A STRUCTURE AND A MAKING METHOD FOR RECEIVER DRIER CAP

PURPOSE: A receiver drier cap structure which seals a receiver drier and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to make a degree of difficulty of a molding process of the receiver drier main body low. CONSTITUTION: A receiver drier cap structure comprises a receiver drier tank(20), a filter unit, and a bottom cap(40). An opening is formed on the bottom of the receiver drier tank and a through hole which is connected to the header tank of a condenser is formed outside the receiver drier tank. The filter unit is inserted to the receiver drier tank and filters the foreign material. The bottom cap is combined on the opening of the receiver drier tank while supporting the filter unit. The bottom cap comprises a body and a filter hybridization unit. The body has the diameter corresponding to the inside diameter of the receiver drier tank. The filter hybridization unit is combined with the filter unit. The supporting structure is formed on the opening end tip of the receiver drier tank. The supporting structure supports the outside end of the bottom cap by crimping. A support groove(60) is formed on the receiver drier tank. The support groove supports the inside end of the filter unit or the inner end of the bottom cap.
