<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage trap closing a drain pipe when sealing water runs out, to prevent back flow of odor and intrusion of insects from the drain pipe, and applicable even in the case of providing a net basket at the upper part of a body case or having a body case of low height. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A drainage cylinder 2 opened at the upper end is provided at a lower part in the body case 1. A sealing water container 3 is formed around the drainage cylinder 2, and an inverted bowl 8 is put in the sealing water container 3 to cover the upper end of the drainage cylinder 2 from above. A float type annular closing implement 7 floating in the water is disposed inside or outside of the lower end of the inverted bowl 8 around the drainage cylinder slidably up or down according to the amount of water in the sealing water container 3. The annular closing implement 7 is formed in annular shape having an acute angle tip 7b at a lower end circumference part of a bottom part. When the water in the sealing water container 3 decreases, the annular closing implement 7 goes down and sits on the bottom part of the sealing water container 3 to close a passage 3a between the lower end of the inverted bowl 8 and the bottom part of the sealing water container 3.
