摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frictional engagement apparatus capable of reducing dragging torque generated by lubricating oil in a clearance between a friction member and an engaging member, in a wide range up to high speed rotation from low speed rotation in relative rotation of the friction member and the engaging member, when the friction member and the engaging member are not engaged. <P>SOLUTION: This frictional engagement apparatus has a clutch drum 51, separator plates 54, a clutch hub 53 and friction plates 61, and has a plurality of waved convex portions protruding in the plate thickness direction between adjacent two convex portions parts, by forming a plurality of waved concave-convex portions that dip inward in the plate thickness direction in a side surface part of the separator plates 54 or a side surface part of the friction plates 61, and is characterized in that a ridgeline of the concave portions and the convex portions passes through a position separate from the side surface part of the separator plates 54 or a central point of the friction plates 61. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
