PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expanded graphite sheet gasket capable of easily and efficiently performing the gasket replacement work, without impeding sealing performance characteristic of expanded graphite and adhering firmly to a metal sealing surface. SOLUTION: The expanded graphite sheet gasket (A) has an adhesion-preventing film (D) which is formed by applying an adhesion-preventing agent in which a layered mineral is dispersed in a PTFE dispersion on the surface of a gasket body (C) consisting of an expanded graphite sheet reinforced with an aramid fiber. To the adhesion-preventing agent, sodium nitrite is further added as an anticorrosive if necessary. In the adhesion-preventing agent, one or more kinds of layered minerals selected from sericite, mica, vermiculite and talc are blended, and the layered minerals are blended in the range which does not exceed 15 parts to 100 parts of PTFE dispersion.
