<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-way rotary damper in which internal pressures of a plurality of chambers into which a viscous fluid pressed by each pressing means flows can be uniformed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When each of pressing means (4a, 4b or 5a, 5b) rotates in one direction, a flow path 10 is provided that enables the viscous fluid to flow only between a plurality of chambers (7a, 7b) into which the viscous fluid pressed by each of the pressing means (4a, 4b or 5a, 5b) flows without providing a flow path for enabling the viscous fluid to flow between a plurality of chambers (6a, 6b) for storing the viscous fluid pressed by each of the pressing means (4a, 4b or 5a, 5b).
