PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detection system capable of moving around a specimen close to the specimen without generating interference of a radiation detector with a top plate, by using the top plate corresponding to the shape of the radiation detector, and to provide a nuclear medicine device equipped with the radiation detection system. SOLUTION: The top plate 30a has a curved surface shape similarly to a radiation incidence surface 42, in order to bring the radiation detector 40 having the radiation incidence surface 42 constituted in a recessed shape as a whole close to the specimen P without generating interference with the top plate 30a. In this case, the degree of curve of the top plate 30a is determined based on the degree of curve of the radiation incidence surface 42 of the radiation detector 40. To put it concretely, the top plate 30a is formed so as to have the same or a higher degree of curve as or than that of the radiation incidence surface 42 of the radiation detector 40. Otherwise, the top plate 30a is formed so as to have a larger curvature than that of the radiation incidence surface 42 of the radiation detector 40. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
