PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner suitable for projecting an image on a screen having a three-dimensional shape. SOLUTION: The optical scanner includes: a hollow motor 30 in which the vicinity of a rotating shaft is formed in a hollow state; a one-dimensional scanning mirror 20, which is disposed on the rotating shaft of the hollow motor 30, and the rotating shaft is provided substantially vertical to the rotating shaft of the hollow motor 30; a reflecting mirror 40 disposed opposite to the one-dimensional scanning mirror 20; and a laser light source 50 installed opposite to the one-dimensional scanning mirror 20 and the reflecting mirror 40 with the hollow motor 30 interposed between them. A laser light beam emitted from the laser light source 50 enters the one-dimensional scanning mirror 20 through the hollow part of the hollow motor 30, and the reflected laser light beam enters the reflecting mirror 40.
