<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed tray capable of switching a center sorting system and a single end guide fixing system, and coping with even a small paper such as a paper of a business card size. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This paper feed tray includes paper guides 3a, 3b movably installed to a tray body 2 in a direction orthogonal to a paper feeding direction, a cooperatively linking mechanism 4 cooperatively linking the paper guides 3a, 3b so that they move in directions opposite to each other by a same amount and changing an interval, and a switch means 5 for canceling or activating the linking of the cooperative linking mechanism 4. The linking mechanism 4 includes a pair of racks 10a, 10b extending in a direction perpendicular to a paper feeding direction and moved together with the paper guides 3a, 3b, a pinion 11a meshed with the rack 10a, and a pinion 11b installed on the same shaft 12 as the pinion 11a and meshed with the rack 10b.
