A method for distributing moving-picture image data whereby an increase in the processing load for each information terminal is suppressed without being influenced by an uneven distribution of a processing load that changes over time or by the bandwidth status of the connected network. In the operation to distribute moving-picture image data from transmission-side information terminals (120, 130) to a reception-side information terminal (110), when the reception-side information terminal (110) repeats a moving-picture image data-transmission request with respect to the transmission-side information terminals (120, 130) at prescribed intervals, the reception-side information terminal calculates as reception-limit information at least one of the following data amounts: own image frame receivable amount and own additional permissible amount, and after that, it keeps the transmission-side information terminals (120, 130) notified of at least one of the following upper limit values: the data amount and the data structural element that is the basis for the calculation of the data amount. |
