摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a hybrid vehicle which can prevent deterioration of mileage by extending a traveling distance in EV (Electric Vehicle) traveling. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle 100 includes: a charging part 30 for carrying out external charge of capacitors 4-1 and 4-2 receiving power from an external power supply; and a first motor generator MG 1 which can generate electric power when receiving driving force from an engine 18. The capacitors 4-1 and 4-2 are constituted so as to be internally chargeable when receiving the power from a power generation part. The vehicle 100 travels by selecting either an EV priority mode wherein internal charge to the capacitor by the power generation part is restricted, or an HV priority mode which controls internal charge by the power generation part so that a charge status value of the capacitor is maintained within a predetermined limit. A control device 2 generates an operation request to an engine 18 when a predetermined operating condition is satisfied during traveling of the vehicle 100.
