PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine for satisfying a requirement of compactness by making thickness of an armrest smaller. SOLUTION: The chair type massage machine 10 includes: a seat part 12 on which a person to be treated is seated; a backrest part 14 for supporting the upper part body of the person to be treated seated on the seat part 12 from the back; armrests 20 for supporting arm parts of the person to be treated seated on the seat part 12; and forearm treating parts 22 which are provided on the side faces of the armrests 20 and treat forearm parts A of the person to be treated seated on the seat part 12.
