<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a door device which prevents a trace of a weld from being exposed on an outer surface when a hinge is welded. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Hinge insertion windows 48 and 49 are notched and opened in a reinforcing plate storage protrusion 29a of an inside plate 23 in advance; and the hinges 53 and 54 are pre-welded to planar hinge welding surfaces 43 and 44 which are formed on an internal reinforcing plate 41 in target positions facing the hinge insertion windows 48 and 49. The internal reinforcing plate 41 is mounted in the reinforcing plate storage protrusion 29a of the inside plate 23 in such a manner that the hinges 53 and 54 are protruded outward from the reinforcing plate storage protrusion 29a of the inside plate 23 through the hinge insertion windows 48 and 49 of the inside plate 23; and the outside and inside plates 21 and 23 are bonded to each other via the internal reinforcing plate 41.
