<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cow dung fertilizer with which the blending amount of a chemical fertilizer can be reduced, and to provide a method for producing the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the cow dung fertilizer includes fermenting a fermentation raw material containing cow dung and a carbonized material of chicken droppings. In the method, the fermentation raw material is obtained by blending 1 pts.mass of cow dung having a water content of 65-95 mass% and 0.2-0.8 pts.mass of the carbonized material of chicken droppings, so that the weight per unit volume of the fermentation raw material becomes 700 kg/m<SP>3</SP>or less. Especially, phosphoric acid can be supplemented to the cow dung fertilizer and crops having high quality can be cultivated by using such a fermentation raw material.
