<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably execute steering handle operation, in a walking type plant husbandry machine capable of executing the steering operation while driving a cultivating rotary by collectively holding a clutch lever and a grip part of the steering handle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The walking type plant husbandry machine comprises a steering handle 6 for executing the steering operation, a grip part 18 provided on the steering handle 6, and a clutch lever 19 for executing the ON-OFF operation of a clutch for coupling/uncoupling the power with/from a cultivating rotary 3 for executing the cultivating operation. When the clutch lever 19 is collectively held together with the grip part 18 along the grip part 18, the clutch is turned ON, and the clutch lever 19 is fitted to and supported by the grip part 18 side so as to drive the cultivating rotary 3.
