PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus is provided to have a cover arranged in parallel with a pickup roller in an axis direction of the pickup roller and made of conductive materials to continuously contact a printing medium with the cover, thereby efficiently removing static electricity of the printing medium. CONSTITUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a storing unit(20), a pickup unit(30), and a cover. In the storing unit, a printing medium is saved. The pickup unit picks up the printing medium of a printing medium storing unit. The cover is made of conductive materials and contacts a printing medium picked up and transferred by the pickup unit.
