<p>The sensor has an electronic system (5) for evaluating a signal of an electrode (2) that is made of light conductive plastic, where the electrode is contactlessly connected to the electronic system. The electrode is formed in an electrically non-conductive plastic part (1) i.e. rear diffuser, which is arranged in a rear region of a motor vehicle. The electronic system is mechanically fastened to an end region of the electrode.
