<p>An auto-injection device has front and rear separable assemblies 10 and 12. The rear assembly contains a drive assembly which may be triggered or unlatched by rearward movement of an actuating member, which may be a sleeve 14 extending from the front assembly. A locking assembly, which may be a dial, 16 is provided which locks the actuating member against movement until the dial is moved to an unlocked position. The locking assembly 16 automatically returns to a locked position upon initial movement of the actuating member 14, so that, the actuating member 14 may move forward after completion of an injection and lock out to shroud the needle of the auto-injection device.</p> |
