The invention relates to manufacture of building items, in particular, to manufacturing wall blocks with relief surface of harsh concrete mix. The process for manufacturing wall blocks with relief surface of harsh concrete mix is characterized in that first at least one demountable wall with relief forming surface is installed and fixed in a bottomless matrix of the vibropress fitment. Then the harsh concrete mix is charged into the bottomless matrix installed on a tray and molding an item by packing using vibrocompression. Upon completing molding the demountable relief forming wall is defixtured and the formed init is removed. During removing the formed unit the demountable wall is retained on the tray during matrix lifting. After that the demountable wall is defixtured and the formed unit is removed together with the tray after which the demountable relief forming wall is separated from the formed item.
